Economic Freedom

The Cato Institute have released the annual Economic Freedom Report. It uses 42 measures such as voluntary exchange of goods and services, freedom to compete, and security of privately owned property and ranks countries on how well their policies encourage economic freedom. This year's index comes with an interactive map which will let you check out how Zambia performs against it neighbours. The new index also includes elements based on the World Bank's Doing Business database.
