Mine Watch (Chilabombwe)

Toronto-based Caledonia Mining has been awarded 25-year mining licences for its Nama cobalt project, near Chilabombwe, but insists that it needs to clear up "disparities" between an investment licence received from the government and the new tax legislation before it can start raising project finance. Certainly one to watch in the context of current debate on the fiscal regime.
