A new hub policy? 2nd Edition

The President appears to be returning to his "hub theme" with the latest offering from Addis Abba. Apparently the government "would begin to look at possibilities of transforming the Lusaka International Airport into a regional hub to accommodate international transit flights". The latest reduction in jet fuel prices from US$1.55 per litre to 85 cents is a step in the right direction, but much more needs to be done - a previous blog lays out some areas for improvement. The good news for Dora and RB is that some of the suggested intervention require no money to be spent.
