New land demarcation?

The Government announced last week the intention to re-demarcate chiefdoms :

Govt acts to reduce wrangles (ZNBC News)

Land in all chiefdoms countrywide is to be re-demarcated to cut down on wrangles among traditional rulers. Lands minister, Ronald Mukuma, told ZNBC news that his ministry will conduct a sensitisation campaign before the exercise begins.

He says the ministry will also use the House of Chiefs to explain the importance of the land demarcation exercise. The minister says Chiefdoms were last demarcated in 1958 hence the need to carry out the exercise.

Mr. Mukuma has urged chiefs to support the re-demarcation exercise as it was in the interest of the entire country.
