FSP Reform, 2nd Edition

Progress on one of the key recommendations of the FSP Reform Report. The Permanent Secretary for Agriculture announced last week that there will be a piloting in this coming cropping season of the FSP Reform Report recommendation for a new approach to assisting smallholders with fertilizer and production advice, using private agro-dealers to redeem the e-vouchers. The official word on the number of Districts where the pilot will happen is still forthcoming, but the informal word is that it may be in some 12 of the most important maize growing Districts where the conservation farming project is also working (click to enlarge):
