Support your fellow Zambian...

A bit of Zambian promotion :

The Public Affairs Section is thrilled to announce that out of 900+ videos from 95 countries entered in the Democracy Video Challenge contest, Zambian filmmaker Chansa Tembo is one of only 18 finalists.

Chansa is now competing with filmmakers from Cote d’Ivoire and Uganda for a chance to represent Africa—and win an all expenses trip to Hollywood. Here’s what you can do: Visit the contest website: , click on the “Vote” icon and when you get to Chansa’s video (“ZAMBIA: Democracy is a SMOOTHIE”) please click THUMB’S UP. (Note: You can hit “next video” to get to the Zambian video quickly.)
I have embedded the video below for your benefit, hopefully to spur you quickly to support Chansa. I think the prize is a trip to America, but am not sure!

  1. Very Powerful video! Within a mere 46 seconds, he gives us a concept of democracy, which many people can interpret in many valid ways. Best of luck to the Filmmaker.
