Mine Watch (Solwezi)

Kiwara PLC last week announced results of their independent Ore Resource Statement for Kalumbila which demonstrates the potential of deposit to contain 1.38 Billion tonnes at 0.78% copper together with nickel and cobalt credits. The Company is now aggressively moving towards closer resource definition and test strike extensions which may potentially enlarge this estimate. The discovery potentially opens the door for another significant open pit mine in the area (map below). Kiwara, through its subsidiary Kalumbila Minerals holds a prospecting license within the Kabompo dome in North-Western Province, a geologically complex anti formal feature which contains a number of base metal and uranium targets.
