Linking Zambia (Zambian Architecture)

"Vernacular" architecture has been disappearing in Zambia. An interesting website is putting it all on record. A worthy project indeed, shame its once again something done by someone who visited Zambia rather than Zambians themselves! Perhaps in time Zambians will learn to value these things.

  1. Everyone, I hope no one will take offense at me posting this here, but I have an interesting thread going about the non-payment of dividends by ZCCM-IH.

This issue puts a big question mark on the benefits of mining companies listing at the LUSE.

I get it that through secretive backroom deals that are stealing billions of US dollars from the Zambian taxpayer and economy, the foreign mining companies are not paying taxes.

However, if you truly are a freemarketeer and believer in the markets, there is no justification for commercial companies not only cheating the taxpayer, but cheating their shareholders out of money.

Is Godfrey Beene protecting the mines from even paying dividends, and cheating the Zambian Government out of it's share of the profits?

Why is the present Finance Minister a former director of ZCCM-IH. And is dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane still covering for the foreign mining houses?

(MRK) Corruption And Swindle At ZCCM-IH

    This stinks to high heaven.

  2. Many institutions limit access to their online information. Making this information available will be an asset to all.
