Health Watch (Health Posts)

Government will this month launch the construction of 650 health posts across the country. The construction of the health posts will be accompanied by the procurement of equipment and facilities such as solar panels.

GRZ also wants to turn all provincial hospitals into teaching hospitals. This will help train the much needed human resource to man the health posts. On top of this Government is this month expecting to receive 200 ambulances to be distributed to health centres.

These are positive policies. When fully implemented they will make a huge difference to our people by substantially increasing the accessibility of health care in rural areas. We should all get behind GRZ and support its very bold health agenda. Most importantly it is vital that people push for appropriate money to be set aside for ongoing maintanance otherwise it will quickly built, quickly run down!
